I have been a Registered Dietitian for five years. I am very close to this disease. My father has diabetes mellitus, both of my grandmothers were diagnosed with diabetes, and, since my last count, I have five aunts and uncles with this disease on both sides of my family. I teach weekly at a diabetes clinic. I realize how much this disease can consume someone's life. I look forward to helping you get the tools to manage this condition.
