cheese and dairy products

Hi,
I was just wondering what people's views on cheese and dairy products are. My mum has high cholesterol (good and bad) but her doctor is adamant she take pills to reduce it. I would say she eats healthily (little meat, lots of veg etc) but she does love cheese. I've read lots of varying reports on this - i.e. if it's organic and unpasteurised then it's actually good for your cholesterol; then there's the Cretan diet which advises ewe cheese only. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Or can you point me towards any information?
Thanks

Cheese is produced by coagulation of the milk protein-casein. Cheese supplies a great amount of fat, protein, calcium, and phosphorus which are good for health. But as per you your mother has high cholesterol than it would be advisable to keep herself away from cheese for her health. Daily use of cheese can cause harm to her but she can it in rare case but in small quantity.

Here is some useful tips for cheese and dairy products :

- Avoid cheeses with dry or cracked edges, with mold or cheeses that appear greasy on the surface.
- Don't allow dairy products, including raw eggs, to remain at room temperature for longer than necessary - never more than 2 hours.
- Don't drink any beverages or eat any foods that contain unpasteurized milk.
- Don't return unused milk, cream, or other dairy products to their original containers.
