What Carb Level is Good For You?

Hello Everybody

Anyone who looks into low-carb diets will see that a range of carbohydrate reduction is recommended by different diets. In order to get the benefits of cutting back on carbs, which is the best approach? It certainly can be puzzling for those who are trying to find the best way for their bodies to eat.

The fact is that there is no one carb level that will be best for everyone. Atkins talked about "metabolic resistance", others talk about "sugar sensitivity" or "carbohydrate tolerance". They all essentially are driving at the same thing.

Different bodies have different abilities to handle carbohydrate, and the trick is to figure out what is best for your body. Most of the reduced-carb diets try to address this issue by offering ways to better individually customize the diet.

It seems there are a lot of carbs in meats and grains and potatoes. Fruits and greens tend to have the smallest of carbs of all foods. I think a well-balanced healthy diet is good for your health but if you want to cut the carbs then eat more fruit and vegetables and less meats, potatoes, pastas and breads.

Hi,

Try to include vegetables in every meal. Vegetables are low carb foods which contain high fiber that aids digestion. After meals, take some fruits like watermelon. Another suggestion is probably to have your them into juices. These would be really a great food.

The fact is that we are beyond scientific research to this point and it is more of an art that must be individually tailored. The way I see it is this: People who are sensitive to carbohydrates are on a continuum. Some will receive small cuts carbohydrates, while others need a greater reduction to reap the benefits. If they all go on a little carb-restricted diet, a low percentage of them reap the benefits.

I suggest that people start to slightly more than Atkins and is therefore recommended: 20 grams of carbohydrates per day, number of users to experience negative effects. It too hard to get all the nutrients and 20 grams of carbohydrates per day.
